Community

These guidelines exist to keep HeloDear a safe, supportive, and respectful space for everyone. They apply to all users — both those seeking support and those providing it.
HeloDear is built on the belief that everyone deserves to be heard. Our community thrives when every member — user and listener alike — commits to these core values:
The following behaviors will result in immediate and permanent account termination with no appeal:
Sexual Exploitation or Harassment
Any sexual content, solicitation, or harassment directed at users or listeners.
Threats of Violence
Threatening harm to any person, including oneself in a manipulative context.
Doxxing or Identity Exposure
Attempting to reveal or sharing the real identity of any user or listener.
Hate Speech or Discrimination
Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Impersonation
Pretending to be a HeloDear employee, licensed professional, or another user.
HeloDear is not a crisis intervention service. However, we take crisis situations seriously:
Listeners who encounter crisis situations will receive follow-up support from our team. Your wellbeing matters too.
We rely on our community to help maintain these standards. Here's how to report:
All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Your report is always anonymous. We will never reveal your identity to the person you report.
We take a graduated approach to enforcement based on the severity and frequency of violations:
We aim to be consistent and fair in our enforcement. All enforcement decisions are made by trained human reviewers, not automated systems alone.
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal within 30 days of the action:
